Description

There are many characters who could have joined Frodo, but he’s joined by the iconic character of Gollum. The acid test for any LEGO Brickheadz is how well it matches up against the subject matter’s appearance, and in the case of all 6 LEGO Lord of the Rings Brickheadz, it’s safe to say that they represent Frodo, Gollum, Gandalf, the Balrog, Aragorn and Arwen well enough, so this passes the recommendation test for me. That’s not to say BrickHeadz characters are hard to build, but rather you might find something that could keep your interest.

If anything Frodo should have been the scale of the Gollum model (3 x 3 stud head) and Gollum should have been on all fours, akin to the Pluto Brickheadz. The LEGO BrickHeadz theme continues in 2023 and there will be three sets based on Lord of the Rings. The hilt is slightly more accurate to Sting, his Elven sword, but the shape of the blade is completely off. From its angular face and horns to the various flames licking across its body, it is a really menacing character to look at.I can’t believe that the day is finally here where LEGO has somehow resurrected the Lord of the Rings theme. It’s really hilarious how bad Gollum looks, as he really nails the naked tan-baby Brickheadz look, down to his the filthy brown loincloth covering Gollum’s precious.

Melding LEGO and Technic in the most ingenious ways, the build is especially challenging but rewarding, especially when you see the functions in action! Across the three main Lord of the Rings films, we meet many characters but it’s essentially the story of Frodo. Aragorn has a printed 2×4 tile on his chest, with his coronation armour bearing the symbol of the Reunited Kingdom of Gondor and Arnor, which is really nice.Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. Obviously here they are taken from the equivalent existing torsos but you'd still need to make decals to get them looking good. This set makes a magical treat, birthday present or holiday gift for The Lord of the Rings™ fans, LEGO builders and LEGO BrickHeadz collectors. The LEGO Group does not accept any responsibility for unforeseen and/or adverse consequences following from the modification/customization.

On top of all these features, LEGO designers gave him interesting facial hair that makes him have a stronger-than-usual jawline. The setting would lend itself perfectly to the entire Fellowship of the Ring, along with the likes of Elrond, Arwen and Bilbo Baggins. I just love how comical it looks, and really interjects the Brickheadz’ design with some cutesy fun. Seller has stated it will dispatch the item within 1 working day upon receipt of cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab . I personally think this was a great choice as it results in an interesting-looking BrickHeadz build. But because I use certain pieces in specific colors that have not been released yet and the heavy use of printed pieces lead me to make this decision.

With 6 characters spread across 3 sets, I’m confident to say that most are hits, rather than misses. The fact Aragorn is featured in his royal clothes, it only makes sense for his set partner to be the Elven daughter of Elrond, Arwen.
