We used this for over a year and I have now packed away in my attic for when my youngest grows out of her current pushchair! I would have preferred the rain cover to fit over the hood – just because it would be much easier to dry. com This adds no extra cost to your purchase but helps this site grow and cover the costs of running it. The plain – and slightly less conspicuous version of this buggy is cheaper but it does not come with a padded liner. Storing and transporting the pushchair is no problem with the easy to use, compact folding system that can be done with one hand in no time at all, meaning you can get out and about with more time to spare and without taking up too much space when travelling.

If you’ve planned a day of errands with your little one accompanying you, you'll need a decent amount of storage. The seat is wider than most other strollers and lays nice a flat, my children have both sleep really well in it. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.Plus, you can fold it away to a surprisingly compact size in seconds with just one hand, offering ultimate convenience. I am hoping to do the same with my new baby in the armadillo, however I have come across some other reviews that say the straps do not adjust small enough to fit a newborn. Out of the three you listed it would be between Armadillo and B-Agile for me (B-Agile is better than City Mini, so City Mini is out).

It certainly worked well under a bit of light rain, though I found that it was best to leave it out and unfolded to dry. I love how easy it is to fold and unfold it and how small it is, it would definitely be good for people with small cars. Although it's suitable from birth, I probably wouldn't use it until my little one was two or three-months-old. While the seat cover and canopy are removable and machine-washable on gentle cycle, our parent testers found that the high-quality materials made it easier just to spot-clean the stroller. The majority of our testers had no problem carrying the folded stroller or fitting it in the trunk or back seat of their vehicle. You can get much cheaper strollers that have a few of the same features but I found the quality in this to be superior and if I’m keeping it from birth to four-years-old (and that’s just one kid), I want something that will last. Saying that, it does lie flat enough to be suitable from birth and you can purchase a newborn cocoon for added comfort. The wheels aren’t going to be great on all terrains – I assume they traded inflatable wheels for a lighter stroller. If you are used to more expensive buggies with large wheels you might find it a bit bumpy, but it is easy to steer and my little boy managed to sleep through a variety of hills, wonky pavements and bus rides - so it was a smooth enough ride for him. I just know he will need a snack tray and I will need a parent console on this trip and something for him to be more comfy.

Our parent testers reported their children seemed comfortable in all of the recline positions, and they appreciated the adjustable leg rest positions as an added bonus to recreating a bed-like environment for their child. What I really like about this seat is that the back of the seat is made out of hard plastic that will always maintain its shape and provide your child with max support. Another great choice would be BOB motion – it weighs 23 lbs, but has very nice suspension and all-terrain wheels that will make it a smooth ride, compact one-hand fold. Reversible seat is a personal preference and keep in mind that it will add more weight to the stroller. Without it, I may have never even considered the Armadillo as it doesn’t seem to be sold at many retailers in Canada. The brake is chunky and easy to operate, the straps on the five-point harness are padded and the clasp feels strong. I have the armadillo city 2 which is the same size as this just a newer one and I think these pushchairs are great. But the sleek design of the XT makes the stroller seem a little lighter and much more stylish than the slightly heavier Baby Jogger City Mini 4-Wheel Pushchair (9.

The reason I haven’t fallen in love with it is because my son looks so uncomfortable in it, he is always leaning/slouching to one side. Wearing my canvas summer shoes it’s not an issue at all, but I imagine if I were wearing open sandals I might hurt my foot or chip my nail varnish taking the brake off! With the canopy closed, place one hand on the handlebar and simultaneously slide the yellow trigger to the right and twist the handlebar down to release the lock. Though there’s nothing unattractive about the sage green Armadillo pushchair, since being offered the opportunity to review it I’ve become aware of the same design in plum – and it’s lovely!
